Many of Hal and Debbi’s principles were shaped as they raised their own children. These children are now discipling their own children and investing in the lives of others. Take a minute to meet the family and discover how the principle of disciples who make disciples is working today.

David and Renata Perkins

Pastor of Radiant Church Kansas City.

They joined the pastoral staff at New Life in 2000 and In 2001, they started a collegiate prayer and discipleship program called The Furnace. In the summer of 2002, they launched the Desperation Conference to unite and challenge students to live everyday in desperate pursuit of God. In 2004, David and Renata developed a full-time leadership-training program, Desperation Leadership Academy, to equip students to encounter God, pray diligently, and lead boldly.

In 2014 David became the U.S. Director at Every Home for Christ. In 2016 David and Renata launched a new church in Kansas City. See RadiantChurchKC.com

David graduated from Southern Nazarene University in 2000 with a degree in Religion and obtained a Masters in Theology from The King’s University in Los Angeles, California.

David is madly in love with his wife, Renata, and spends loads of time discipling his four children- Dawson, Alivia, Adelyn and Justus.

Matt and Dana Candler

Matt and Dana have been intercessory missionaries at the International House of Prayer since it began in 1999.  Dana prayer leads on worship teams at the House of Prayer and has  written three books: Deep unto Deep, Entirety, and Mourning for the Bridegroom, and is a contributing author of The Rewards of Fasting by Mike Bickle.

Matt and Dana have been part of the Forerunner School of Ministry (FSM) faculty at IHOPU for many years, teaching various courses. Matt has taught courses such as the The Way of Intimacy, Hymns of Revelation and the Apostolic Prayers, Romans: Theology of Holy Passion, The Life of David, and more. Dana has taught courses on The Way of Intimacy, the Song of Songs, the Fasted Lifestyle, and more.

Recently they have become the directors of the Intern program for all the new interns that come to the International House of Prayer.

Murray and Deborah Hiebert

From the International House of Prayer in Kansas City, Murray and Deborah give themselves to night and day worship and prayer so that so every nation on earth would be glad in Jesus! They are directors of the Forerunner Music Academy. Prior to this position, they served as Prayer Directors for Every Home For Christ in Colorado Springs and worship pastor at Real Life Church in Post Falls, Idaho.

In the context of the International House of Prayer University, they equip individuals to pursue the knowledge of God and the knowledge of His will. They train thousands of messengers for the growing movement of worship, prayer and missions throughout the globe. They both teach many classes including, House of Prayer Practicum, House of Prayer Leadership, Song of Solomon, and Life of Prayer.

Partnering with other missions organizations and indigenous believers, they prepare individuals to pioneer and fuel expressions of night and day worship and prayer around the world. In addition, they have founded a ministry called 111global.org.   They are discipling their four children, Elianna, Emmalyn, Eden and Hudson.

Dan and Amy Perkins

Huge News!!! Dan and Amy will be moving to KC this summer to join the launch of Radiant Church!! Dan and Amy are a powerhouse couple that have served together as internship directors for many years! I’ve watched them disciple young adults, write curriculum, facilitate prayer meetings, baptize new believers, officiate weddings, and lead mission trips all over the world.

Specifically, Dan & Amy will start and lead Radiant’s new young adult discipleship program called Radiant Intensive – Already, a team is forming around them that have served in past internships. Radiant Intensive will begin this fall in KC and equip young adults to know God, grow as a disciple, discover purpose and reach people.
